We are currently comprised of 5 musicians :

Steve
Carter (top-center)—lead vox
Steve started singing in bands at sixteen as music is his life and his soul.
He started out as a Bass player but eventually moved strictly to doing lead vocals while influenced by the likes of Ronnie James Dio,
Rob Halford and Geoff Tate. He has been a member of over forty different groups in his career from blues to over the top heavy metal.
Steve is very proud to play with such a talented and diverse group of musicians in Journey 2 Boston.
Johnny
Maz (top-right)—keys/vox
Born in Montreal in the early sixties, Johnny started classic piano lessons at the age of Six.
At the age of 13, he made a television appearance. In those early years of adolescence,
Johnny took part in several amateur contests, and often won first prize.
He organized Rock shows during college and university, often to the detriment of his studies.
While on tour with the band U-Bahn, in which France D'Amour was the lead singer,
he managed to complete his University degree.
In 2003, Johnny moved to the Outaouais region, and since then, he’s played in several bands.
Dave
Ray (top-left)—guitars/vox
Dave was born and raised in Ottawa and has been playing guitar for over 25 years.
Dave have performed and recorded with a variety of bands ranging from the heaviest metal to good ole classic rock.
The one thing in common is all of the amazing people he’s come across in those adventures.
He’s proud to play with Journey 2 Boston and is looking forward to seeing you at our gigs!
Ben
Plamondon (lower-left)—Bass/vox
Ben joined the band during the spring of 2007.
A versatile multi-instrumentalist and signer, Ben has fronted or played in multiple bands on the Quebec scene over the past years.
Now with J2b, he's comfortable doing what he enjoys most – playing bass guitar.
He is also involved in a series of songwriting projects, and has recently penned a song, "Pas Pour Moi",
that French Canadian signer Stephanie Rideout has recorded as her first single in 2006.
Dave
Hodgson (lower right) drums/vox
Dave joined the band in January of 2009. He has been playing the drums for over 25 years.
Dave’s formal training included 3 years of private lessons followed by a one year stint at Musician’s Institute in Hollywood,
California, where he studied under many world class musicians, introducing him to a diversity of musical styles such as jazz,
latin, fusion, funk and reggae. Throughout his drumming career, Dave has played in, and recorded with,
several rock/metal bands including more than 10 years with one of Ottawa’s top progressive metal bands.
He is very excited about this opportunity to join such an enthusiastic, talented group of musicians in Journey To Boston.
